Mila Kunis Bio
Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on the 14th of August, 1982. At the age of seven, Kunis immigrated to the United States with her parents, Mark and Elvira, as well as her older brother, Michael, and eventually settled in Los Angeles. The Kunis family only had $250 in their account when they moved to their new home. Kunis parents decided to quit their jobs to move and were determined to give their children a better life. Mark, a former mechanical engineer, soon was employed as a taxi driver, while Elvira was a teacher of physics in Ukraine and later became the manager of a pharmacy. "I didn't know the American culture," Kunis has said when she first arrived to the United States. "I didn't understand the people. I was not conversant in the language. The first line of my college application essay was "Imagine being deaf and blind at the age of 7". It was a very difficult experience when I moved into the States. But it was not a difficult transition. Milena Markovna Kunis daughter of Mark Kunis and Elvira Chernivtsi in Ukraine was born on August 14th in 1983. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother is a teacher of physics and also manages a pharmacy. Her dad is a mechanical engineer however, he also works as taxi driver. She is Jewish and her family moved to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her first choice of school. She began acting lessons when she was nine. After auditioning for a few commercials and a few TV shows, she made her debut on 'Days of our Lives. She also appeared as a child actor on the show 'Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, 'Santa with Muscles,' and the Angelina Jolie movie, Gia. The first time she was cast on the 1998 sitcom That ’70s show as Jackie Burkhart. Her performance earned her rave reviews. In 1999, she was cast in the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
