Bonnie Wright
Bonnie Francesca Wright was born 17 February 1991. She is an actress, model and director from England. The most well-known part of her career is that of Ginny Weasley, the Harry Potter film series's main character. Born in London, Wright portrayed the role for 10 years, until she was chosen to play the character as the character in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II (2011). After the film, Wright appeared in a number of independent films, including Before I Sleep (2013), The Sea (2013) and After the Dark (2014) and After the Dark (2014). The films received mixed reviews. She was the stage's first main character in Peter Ustinov's The Moment of Truth at the Southwark Playhouse in 2013.Wright graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in filmmaking. Following her graduation from the University of the Arts in London in 2012, she began making short films with the production company BonBonLumiere. She directed her debut film that was a coming-of-age-drama Separate We Come and Separate We Go (2012). It was released at the Cannes Film Festival to great praise from critics. She also directed Know Thyself (2016), which featured Christian Coulson, as well as Sextant (2016). Both featured landscape and emotion. Wright's three-part series, Phone Calls, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017. She released Medusa's Ankles (2018) starring Kerry Fox and Jason Isaacs, that is based on A. S. Byatt's The Matisse Stories. She has also directed music videos of musicians Sophie Lowe, Pete Yorn, and Scarlett Johansson. Wright is well-known as an environmental activist; she also serves as an ambassador for the charities Greenpeace as well as Lumos.
