Alona Tal
Alona Tal is an Israeli-American actress and singer. Her birthplace was in Herzliya on October 20, 1983. Following her service as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces, she started her career. Her biggest break was in 2003 when she starred in an Israeli film. She was also a part of two Israeli TV shows at the time. She also attempted to make music and recorded several songs in collaboration with Subliminal, an Israeli rapper. Tal moved in with her sister in New York to take a break from her career. In the track "Party to Damascus", she collaborated in a duet with Wyclefjean from Haiti. American television also saw her rise to fame, beginning with a recurring part on the TV show Veronica Mars. She initially was a candidate for the role lead but the creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Tal eventually earned an established role on the CBS series. After moving to New York, he appeared in two shows on TV in Israel. Wyclef Jean was her singer. Hebrew is her first language. Second choice for the character of Veronica in Veronica Mars (2004).Originally auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the role of the title. Thomas loved her so much, he made the recurring role Meg Manning for her. Thomas served in The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish and her father is a Turkish/Jewish man and her has a Polish/Jewish mother. The actress plays Adrian Monk's daughter in the last episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish and her mother is Polish/Jewish.
