Emily Swallow
American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18 1979. Her roles in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most known. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played part in a minor role on The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born 18 December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began her acting career at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also took part in professional and amateur productions of theatre. Swallow received a BA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She continued the course to pursue an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was a part of two world premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's The play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] She won the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her performance as Kate in the film The Taming Of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman devised a stage show called Jac N Swallow, which they performed in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show is about their hilarious mishaps as they confront diverse life circumstances.
