Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was the younger daughter
and media mogul, producer, musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Her
older sister is Kidada Jones, as well as five half-siblings through the various
relationships between her father and his other partners. Her father is African
American and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants of Russia
and Latvia). Rashida was born into Reform Judaism. She was raised in Bel Air
Los Angeles, California. Jones said that Jones' parents were mixed race and did
not suit her in the 1970s. Jones began her debut as a professional actor in The
Last Don in 1997, a mini-series inspired by Mario Puzo. Rashida also graduated
from Harvard University in 1997. In 1997, she attended the Buckley School,
Sherman Oaks, California. Awarded Most Likely To Succeed. Arabic (O+O'UO O(c))
is her name. It means "Major", adult, mature and wise. The People

Hunnam. Kidada Jones was her sister's engagement ring bearer and also singer
for a Tupac Shakur tribute track. Kidada and Rashida's brother Quincy Jones III
composed the song. Quincy Jones III, their father, also appeared during the
introduction, reciting Shakur's lines "Starry Night". The poem was
the inspiration for the song's title. Rashida's father is African American, and
also has smaller amounts of English, Scottish, and Welsh and Scottish the
ancestry of which is Welsh, Scottish, and English (some of his African family
members were descendants of the Tikar people from Cameroon). Rashida is
Ashkenazi Jewish, of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish descent. Her paternal
grandparents came of South Carolina and Mississippi, respectively. Her maternal
grandfather was born to New Yorkers, and her maternal grandmother was of
Eastern European Jewish heritage. Since the end of 2009, she had played three
characters that go by the title "Karen" on the cult classic comedy
shows on TV (Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella (2005) and The Office (2005)).
