Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in
Miami, Florida. She is the daughter Jose Luis El Puma' Rodriguez (the famous
Venezuelan actor and singer) and Carolina Perez (a Cuban-model). There are two
half-sisters to her. She attended the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart,
Miami. From childhood, Rodriguez knew she wanted to act and attended summer
classes at the famed Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as
beginning other acting classes. Rodriguez was a prominent character in Spanish
language television shows that included Dame Chocolate (2007), Dona Barbara
(2008) and Prisionera (2004). In the popular show "Entourage", she
also played Sarah. Man on a Ledge (2012) and What to Expect when you're
expecting (2012) are two films she has worked on. Jose Luis El Puma'
Rodriguez's daughter. Half-sister to Liliana Rodrigo as well as Lilibeth
Moillo. In the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode in
2013), she mentioned that her name was Genesis which is a reference to the
British rock group Genesis. She is from Venezuelan and Cuban descent. Being by
the ocean is the most wonderful thing. If this acting thing doesn't work, I'd
just put in my resume for NBA.com. I'm a massive basketball fan . . . I'll
discuss all manner of trash. I believe I represent an emerging generation of
Latinos multi-cultural and bilingual. It's evident that I'm not able to consume
what I want to or appear as I would like. You must work hard for it. I am
thankful to Pilates as well as my parents' great genes. It's one of the best
bonding experiences that you can have. I am a fan of people who dare to be
risky. I admire people who will take risks on the carpet. Charlize Thon is my
favorite. She is both elegant and edgy. I love Zoe Saldana.
