Sarah Chalke
Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa, Ontario
Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. Sarah
is the middle of two siblings, the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger,
Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career in a TV-made film, City Boy (1992).
After her first movie Sarah auditioned for the role as Becky on Roseanne (1988)
in 1993. After Alicia Goranson left the show to attend college the show was
searching for the perfect replacement. Sarah graduated from high school in the
year 1995, while shooting the 1994-1995 season of Roseanne (1988). Sarah also
starred with Jim Varney (1994) in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah
starred in two films: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) as
an actress called Krista Wilson. Sarah was asked to be a part in a 1998 TV show
called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. This happened one year after Roseanne
(1988). It was based on the television film with the same title, Nothing Too
Good for a Cowboy (1998), which Sarah was also in. In 1993 she took over
Becky's part on Roseanne (1988). Said she would like to take a break from
acting and pursue a degree in. [2001] (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's
elder sister on Roseanne (1988) However, she is much younger in real life.
Attended the 1999 CCMA award ceremony, and received an award for the best
single of the year. (September 1999) At the age of 8 appeared in Vancouver
theatre productions. Fluent in French and German. She volunteers at the hospice
which cares for terminally ill children. Chalke likes to cook with her pals
(especially Thai or sushi) she also plays the guitar, hike, ski (she's an
instructor), and kayaking. Her father is an attorney, and both of her parents
manage an agency for adoption of children. Her parents took her to China in
order to facilitate the adoptions of multiple orphans.
