Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is a British and Canadian actress. Her role as
Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is the most well-known of
her roles. She was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe
Award nominees. In 2002, she won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
She reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the
City 2 (2010). Cattrall made her film debut in Rosebud (1975) and was later
seen in numerous television roles. In the 1980s, she gained to fame with films
like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was
also seen in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin
(1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the
Musketeers (1989). She worked on several occasions with director Bob Clark,
appearing in four of his films: Tribute (1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182 (1985)
as well as Baby Geniuses (1999). Her film credits also comprise The Bonfire of
the Vanities (90), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country(91), Split
Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995), and 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads(2002),
