Natalie dormer
Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress. Her awards include an Empire
Award, nominations for a Critics Choice Award and two Gemini Awards, and two
Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire. She became
famous by playing the character of Anne Boleyn in the character she played on
the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which won her wide acclaim. In Sweet
Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut. She she also played the Duchess Of York
in Madonna's W.E. (2011), Private Lorraine in Captain America The First Avenger
(2011). Her performance in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic was
praised. Dormer was appreciated for her performances in After Miss Julie (2012)
at the Young Vic. She also played Irene Adler/Moriarty for CBS's Elementary
(2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price (2016, 2017) and Onica in The Dark Crystal:
Age of Resistance (2019). Her role as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels in a
miniseries on Penny Dreadful, was highly and highly acclaimed. Dormer was born
11 February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England), as the daughter of Gary
Dormer & Claire Richards. She is also the sister of Samantha Dormer and
Mark Dormer.
