Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Claire (born on 17 January 1980) is an American model and actress. She is also a musician singer, and songwriter. Her first film appearance was in Mumford (1999) in addition, she played a supporting part in Cameron Crowe's film Almost Famous (2000). Deschanel is well-known for her slapstick appearances in comedy films like The Good Girl (2002) and The New Guy (2006). She also appeared in dramatic films with Manic (2001), All the Real Girls (2004), Winter Passing (2006), Bridge to Terabithia(2007), The Happening (2008) as well as The Driftless Area (2014). From 2011 to the year 2018, she played Jessica Day on the Fox sitcom New Girl, for which she received nominations for an Primetime Emmy Award and three Golden Globe Awards. Deschanel was a part of jazz cabaret group If All the Stars Were Pretty Babies for a couple of years beginning in 2001. Deschanel collaborated with M. Ward in 2006 and released their debut album Volume One. The group has been releasing five albums that include Volume Two (2010) and A Very She & Him Christmas (2011), Volume 3 (2013) Classics 2014.
